Because this unit includes the 7-quart accessory pack, which features a 7-quart adapter plate with two 7-quart insets with hinged covers, two soup options can be heated and served simultaneously. To simplify self-service, it comes with two 3-ounce Kool-Touch® stainless steel ladles.

By using water and a direct-contact heating element, the Vollrath 720202003 full-size rethermalizer can warm precooked soups chilled at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 165 degrees Fahrenheit within 90 minutes. To keep product warm once it's rethermalized, users can close the hinged covers, maintain water level by checking the low-water indicator light, and stir soups consistently.
