Vollrath 40758 Description
The Vollrath 40758 floor-model planetary mixer has a 30-quart capacity and a three-speed belt. If the gears are changed, power to the unit is temporarily interrupted by a safety cutoff switch without stopping the mixer. While mixing, staff can track the time using the digital timer, which audibly alerts users when it expires. Ensuring quiet, efficient continuous operation, the unit has a grease-packed ball bearing and air-cooled motor. It is ideal for small bakeries, convenience stores, and home industries, as it is specifically designed for small commercial mixing applications.

not a 30 qt mixer
"when i purchased this mixer it was to replace an existing 30 qt globe mixer. before ordering i did as much research as possible i even called vollrath. upon recieving the mixer the bowl will only hold 24 qts. this is a huge deal. we have been using a 30 qt mixer of some kind for 20 years.our recipe are portioned to fit this. i called vollrath and they essentially told me to bad."
