The Vollrath 36502 drop-in hot food well is a top-mount bain marie unit designed for wet operation to maintain consistent temperatures across multiple hot food items in buffet and serving lines. It accommodates three full-size pans within a stainless steel well, while thermostatic controls provide precise heat regulation and can be mounted on the unit or remotely with a 48-inch control cord. A stainless steel top with a full-perimeter drip edge helps contain spills, and a 1-inch drain with a ball valve supports controlled water removal during operation.
