The flat, aluminum-clad bottom of the Vollrath 2504 Optio™ stock pot provides effective, even heat distribution, making it ideal for slow cooking applications, such as simmering soups. Its resilient stainless steel construction withstands intensive use, resisting damage from corrosion and scratches. This pot has a capacity of 18 quarts and includes a cover.

Magic Pot
I invited an intimate group of 20 to 25 people over for Holiday Cheer. I made a big pot of Gumbo. This is a very expensive dish and cannot be left unattended. You have to make sure you reach the bottom of the pot to make sure there is no sticking. This pot is now my official Gumbo pot. No sticking, excellent heat distribution, the weight is heavy but not in an unrealistic way. I can't say enough good things about it. It also looks very pretty on the range. The only downside is I did t buy two when the price was amazing low. It's the perfect stock pot!
