Groen AH/1E-40 Description
The Groen AH/1E-40 gas kettle has front-facing controls to simplify operation. Steam is produced by a gas-heated, self-contained steam source in the kettle's 3⁄4 jacket, and its temperature sits between 150 and 270 degrees Fahrenheit. It is controlled thermostatically, so it will shut off when the set temperature has been reached and start again when the temperature drops, and the standing pilot has an electronic ignition, enabling it to ignite quicker than other ignition system.
The Groen AH/1E-40 stationary kettle can hold 40 gallons of product within its stainless steel body, which is insulated for retaining heat and staying cool to the touch. It sits on three adjustable legs to ensure it stays level. For loading and unloading product, the cover is equipped with a No. 51 counterbalanced actuator that holds it in an open position. To strain contents, the unit has a 2-inch draw-off valve.
