To transport hot or cold food to off-site locations, the Cambro UPCS180131 S Series Ultra Pan Carriers® food carrier is made with foamed-in-place insulation that retains heat and cold air. For 4 hours, it keeps hot food between 179 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit and cold food between 33.9 and 35.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintaining proper moisture levels, it self-vents to equalize pressure and let steam out. A gasket is built into the unit to seal in temperatures, so it is more durable and easier to clean than removable alternatives.

This Cambro UPCS180131 insulated food carrier can hold a full-size, 8-inch-deep pan, which approximately translates to 24.5 quarts of food. The box is made of polypropylene—a lightweight material that's comfortable to lift and withstands heavy use. For lifting, handles are molded into every side of the carrier, and latches create a seal to prevent leaking.
