Durable, rust resistant, and easy to clean, the shelf plates are constructed of polypropylene—a durable plastic that's safe between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. The dishwasher-safe material also resists damage from salty air, food acids, chemicals, and humidity and is protected from bacterial and mold growth by an antimicrobial agent. With this level of strength, the shelf can be use in pantries, dishrooms, and walk-in refrigerators and freezers.

This Cambro CPMU243675V5480 starter shelving unit is mobile on 5-inch premium swivel casters, giving operators flexibility to transport it wherever it's needed. Fully assembled, this model measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 75 inches high. All the parts needed for assembly are included: 10 traverses, factory-assembled post kits with connectors, and molded-in dovetails. Unlike Basics Plus and Elements dovetails, these joints are built into the components and don't have to be installed in the field, reducing labor during assembly. Made of steel and finished with polypropylene, the traverses and posts are durable and corrosion resistant. For flexibility, the traverses can be moved up and down in 4-inch increments on the posts.
