This airflow reduces dust and moisture accumulation while maintaining uniform temperatures from top to bottom. Because they're made of polypropylene, the shelves are resistant to damage from humidity, chemicals, and food acids. Their smooth surfaces can be wiped down or run through a commercial dishmachine. To inhibit fungal, bacterial, and mold growth that could lead to product degradation, odors, and stains, the shelves are protected by Camguard® antimicrobial agent.

The Cambro CPMU243675V4480 starter shelving unit is part of Cambro's high-quality Premium series—easy-to-assemble, durable alternative to Elements and Basics Plus shelves. It comes with all the components needed for assembly: two factory-assembled post kits with connectors, eight adjustable traverses, and molded-in dovetails. These steel posts and traverses are finished with polypropylene for strength and resistance to corrosion. Their molded-in dovetail joints reduce assembly requirements because they don't need to be installed on site. When assembling the unit, it should be mounted to its 5-inch premium swivel casters, which provide mobility to increase storage and transport flexibility.
