The Cambro CPU215472S4480 Camshelving® Premium starter shelving unit's four solid shelving tiers prevent spills from dripping onto other shelves or the floor, ensure towels and sheets remain uncreased, and support small or irregularly shaped products. As much as 800 pounds can be stored on each shelf, but operators shouldn't load more than 2,000 pounds onto this unit. For lasting use, the shelves' polypropylene construction resists rust, corrosion, and damage from harsh chemicals and salt water. These smooth surfaces are simple to wipe clean, and as they become dirty, the shelves can be removed and sanitized in a dishmachine. Between these cleanings, Camguard® antimicrobial protection slows bacterial spread that could form stains or odors.
Because the Cambro CPU215472S4480 starter shelving system's posts, traverses, and shelf plates have polypropylene coatings, this unit can be stored safely in humid storage spaces, and it withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. The two included post kits come assembled, and dovetails are molded into the posts to expedite setup. Once it's put together, this unit measures 54 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 72 inches high and features a speckled gray look that complements neutral decors.
