Once it's assembled, it measures 36 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 72 inches high and is comprised of four shelving tiers. Each tier can support 800 pounds; however, storing more than 2,000 pounds on this unit could weaken the shelving system. It endures temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit and is compatible with storage in coolers, freezers, loading docks, pantries, and dishrooms to ensure objects can be stored in appropriate, safe environments.

Each shelf in the Cambro CPU213672S4480 starter shelving unit measures 36 inches wide by 21 inches deep, is made of rust-resistant polypropylene, and is treated with Camguard® antimicrobial protection to slow bacterial spread between regular cleanings. The shelves' flat, sturdy surfaces suit a wide array of inventory because they catch spills from leak-prone goods, prevent linens from becoming creased, and support small or irregularly shaped product. To accommodate variously sized items, the shelves can be raised and lowered along the steel and polypropylene posts. As the shelves become dirty, they can be removed, wiped clean, and run through a warewasher.
