When loaded to its maximum capacity, the Cambro CBU244864S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit can support 1,800 pounds; its top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, while each lower shelf can hold 600 pounds. To prevent wobbling when it's stored on irregular surfaces or when product is loaded and retrieved, four composite posts with leveling feet stabilize the unit. This shelving system endures temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling use in warm dishrooms, dry pantries, and walk-in coolers and freezers. For quick assembly, its post connectors and wedges come preassembled, and the necessary traverses and dovetails are included.
The Cambro CBU244864S4580 starter shelving unit is comprised of four levels of solid polypropylene shelf plates. Their flat, rigid surfaces can support linens, small objects, and items that tend to leak. To ensure products are stored on sanitary surfaces, Camguard® antimicrobial protection is built into the shelves, inhibiting bacterial and fungal growth that could cause odors and stains. As the shelves become dirty, they can be removed, wiped clean, and washed in a dishmachine for convenient sanitization.
