The Cambro CBU214884V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit measures 48 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high and is designed to hold 1,800 pounds. The top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, while each lower shelf can support 600 pounds. Operators can raise and lower the shelves along the composite posts as inventory changes to accommodate various product sizes. These posts are capped with leveling feet to balance the unit on sloped or uneven ground, preventing it from rocking when product is loaded or retrieved. Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with this unit to quicken installation. Because it's usable in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it's safe to store in dishrooms, coolers, freezers, and pantries.
