Designed to hold 1,800 pounds, this Cambro CBU214284S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit is built with four solid shelving tiers. The top shelf can support 400 pounds, while each lower shelf accommodates 600 pounds. To provide ample storage space, this unit measures 42 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high; the shelves can be raised and lowered along the composite posts as needed. This shelving unit is usable in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it can be used in a wide range of storage environments, from pantries to walk-in freezers. Engineered for quick installation, the post connectors and wedges come preassembled, while eight traverses and four bags of dovetails are included.
Each shelf in the Cambro CBU214284S4580 starter shelving unit features a rigid surface that supports small or irregularly shaped product, protects other shelves from spills, and prevents imprints from forming on towels and sheets. To preserve a clean storage space, the shelves are made of durable, rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene and contain an antimicrobial protection agent that slows bacterial and fungal spread. These shelves are safe to remove, wipe clean, and sanitize in a dishmachine when needed.
