All four shelves in the Cambro CBU213084S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit are solid to provide a flat, sturdy surface that accommodates linens, small items, and irregularly shaped goods. This design also helps contain spills from leaky product, preventing damage to stored contents on other shelves. Made of polypropylene, they resist rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching to protect stored contents from contaminants. To maintain sanitary surfaces, operators can wipe the shelves clean, and these shelves are removable for dishmachine washing. Between routine cleanings, molded-in Camguard® antimicrobial agent slows bacterial spread that otherwise could result in stains and odors.

The Cambro CBU213084S4580 starter shelving unit measures 30 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high and can be assembled with the included traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges. Though its top shelf can hold 400 pounds, and each bottom shelf is engineered to hold 600 pounds, only 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit to prevent structural damage. This unit is usable in environments from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it's ideal for dishrooms, freezers, coolers, and pantries. To prevent wobbling and rocking on uneven surfaces, the four composite posts are capped with leveling feet that balance the unit on irregular ground.
