Waring WCT704 Description
The Waring WCT704 slot toaster has extra-wide, extra-long slots that can accommodate bagels, Texas toast, and other thick breads. To ensure bread is evenly toasted, the bread rack centers itself. A crumb tray collects debris and easily removes to facilitate cleaning. There is a browning level control that is adjustable with a rotary dial. Other controls include LED indicator lights for defrost, reheat, and cancel. The Waring WCT704 slot toaster has a mirror finish that creates a professional look.

Finally found exactly what I was looking for!
"This is for residential use. I have been searching for a replacement for my long slot KitchenAid toaster which has lasted 20 years. This chrome toaster looks really good in the kitchen which has stainless appliances, as it is displays another pop of chrome to match the faucets. It works and toasts well without problem. The long slots are a must with today's large loaf bakery items. Toast can be manually lifted up with the lever to retrieve it by hand easily. Stainless toasters vary in finishes which don't match stainless appliances well, and they definitely don't look as classy as this chrome toaster. This toaster is very sturdy and is priced accordingly."

Uneven Toasting
"Unfortuantely, one side of the toast gets done to a greater degreee than the other, resulting in uneven toasting. Have to flip toast around half way through if you want even toasting. Disappointing in a toaster of this price."

Extremely disappointed
"My husband and I have wanted a high end toaster for a long time. Since we've been remodeling our kitchen we decided to splurge on a wonderful toaster. We were willing to pay up if need be but wanted something super. This was not it. This toaster only burns bread even on setting 1. I had to go back to my $15 toaster and now I'm stuck with a [$] shiny paper weight. I did a ton of research online before purchasing this toaster. Either I got a lemon or way to many folks out there like burnt bread."

Finally a great toaster !
"Finally a toaster that performs. I went through two Dualites, both burned out in less than a year. Then I bought a Cuisinart that had such small slots about the only thing you could toast was Wonderbread. The Waring has long slots to toast artisan type breads. The toasting is very even and makes the toast hot. It is well built without a lot of electronics to good bad. Only thing it doesn't have is a setting to toast bagels only on one side"
