Great for foods with tough exteriors, the Dexter Russell S162-8SCR-PCP Sani-Safe® bread knife's scalloped edge effectively cuts through crust, skin, peel, and rind. It carves through watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe without damaging the soft interior, and slices cleanly through bread loaves without crushing or flattening them. This 8-inch blade is made of high-carbon steel and is sealed to the handle to eliminate crevices that could harbor bacteria. The handle is made of durable polypropylene, has a nonslip texture, and comes in red to support color-coded applications.
