Made with a scalloped edge, the 8-inch blade on this Dexter Russell S162-8SCC-PCP Sani-Safe® bread knife is ideal for cutting through foods with tough exteriors. It slices through bread without crushing or flattening it, and it can smoothly cut through pineapple, watermelon, and cantaloupe without butchering the soft fruit. Because the handle is blue, it fits into color-coded prepping systems. This handle is made of textured polypropylene, so it provides a slip-resistant grip. The handle is sealed to the high-carbon steel blade to eliminate hard-to-clean crevices.

Yes, I would buy this product again.
This knife works really well. My wife thought the handle was a bit too large for her hands but I notice it is the only knife she uses now to cut melons. I still haven't had a chance to use the knife yet because she beats me to it. I haven't heard any more complaints.
