Versatile to support almost any type of cooking, the Cleveland SEL40T1 PowerPan™ braising pan can be used in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other high-volume establishments. Its 40-gallon capacity is made for large batch cooking, and measurement marks are integrated into the pan for accuracy. Because the cooking surface is ⁵⁄₈ inch thick, it resists warping as it repeatedly heats up and cools down. To streamline cleaning, the cooking plate is bead blasted, creating a nonstick finish. Users can adjust the temperature on the thermostat with a range of 100 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

The cover on the Cleveland SEL40T1 tilt skillet is spring assisted for convenient opening and closing, while the handle on the cover spans the full width to support opening from any angle. Using a manual hand crank, operators can tilt the unit to empty cooked food. Because the mechanism is manual, it is less efficient and precise than powered options but more reliable and economical. The heating elements shut off if the unit is tilted more than 10 degrees to protect the user.
