Star 848TCHSA Description
Thermostatic snap-action controls embedded every 12 inches regulate precise heat levels between 150 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit across four independent zones. The Star 848TCHSA Ultra-Max® gas griddle offers a 48-inch wide by 24-inch deep cooking surface and uses liquid propane, which delivers consistent flame and fast heat recovery without electrical reliance. A standing pilot system maintains a ready flame for quick startup during daily operation.
Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the welded frame of the Star 848TCHSA Ultra-Max® gas griddle withstands repeated exposure to heat and grease. A 1-inch thick chrome plate made of T1 steel distributes heat evenly and provides a smooth cooking surface that resists sticking. A 43⁄8-inch wraparound splash guard and 31⁄2-inch trough help contain and channel grease into the 6-quarts drawer below. Heavy-duty metal knobs and 4-inch adjustable legs complete the setup.
