The Scotsman NS0422A-1/B530S/KBT27 Prodigy Plus® ice maker and bin set comes with a bin top designed to connect the 22-inch-wide ice machine head with the 30-inch-wide bin, preventing cold air from seeping out. Producing as much as 420 pounds of soft, chewable nugget ice per day in optimal ambient conditions, this ice machine is intended for fast food chains and quick-service restaurants that serve many soft drinks throughout the day. Operating with a front-breathing system and a compact width of 30 inches, this ice machine and bin set fits into cramped floor plans where space is at a premium. Because the condenser is self-contained, this ice maker is simple to install and operate; its unit-specific QR code gives users a quick way to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Designed to hold 536 pounds of prepared ice, the Scotsman NS0422A-1/B530S/KBT27 ice machine and bin combo keeps lots of ice chilled in storage, ready to meet periods of increased demand. The bin stands on 6-inch legs at a comfortable, accessible height; its top-hinged door opens from the front for accessibility. For durability in high-volume locations, the bin has a metallic exterior finish. Lined with polyethylene and insulated with foamed polyurethane, this bin keeps ice chilled to prevent melting while requiring no electrical connection to operate. Inside the bin, an integrated drain enables meltwater to empty away from the stored ice with minimal user labor.
