Featuring a Castone®-lined tank, the Hatco S-7 Imperial booster water heater resists interior corrosion and mineral deposits. This tank has fiberglass insulation—as well as a heat trap—to keep water hot and reduce the need to heat the machine constantly. Factory pre-plumbing and pre-wiring prepare the heater for installation, relieving the user of some setup burden. For durability, the body has a hammertone finish and a stainless steel front.

The water temperature required for killing bacteria in a commercial dishwasher is 180 degrees Fahrenheit and the Hatco S-7 booster heater is equipped to provide that. Each hour, its recovery rate is 70 gallons at a 40-degree-Fahrenheit rise and 40 gallons at a 70-degree-Fahrenheit rise. This fast rate suits kitchens that have steady volumes of dirty dishes.
