"I have purchased a few of these for bars I own over the years. This last one was a complete dud right out of the box. Water did not heat at all. Called Katom immediately to find out what my return options were and they told me since it had been opened and used that I now had to contact the manufacturer BUNN. Not only would Katom not stand behind products they sell they gave me the incorrect number to contact BUNN which then led to almost two hours of being transferred from one moronic BUNN employee to the next. I would not purchase this product again nor will I purchase from Katom again."
"Maybe this one was just a dud, and others of the same model make a great product, but ours did not do what it was suppose to from the moment we got it out of the box. We promptly reached out to ask for a return, had to follow up multiple times over 2 weeks to even get a response. Katom said because it's out of the box and considered "used," they cannot accept it for return. Here's my question, if it's not out of the box, how would I find out if it's actually functional or defective? They said we had to deal directly with BUNN, who I don't think should be responsible for the sale of a defective item. If anything, Katom can take it back, examine, and send it back to BUNN. That's how it would usually work, but Katom just wants to keep your money and make you deal with the manufacturer instead."
