APW Wyott M-95-2 Description
Buns in the APW M-95-2 bun grill move from top to bottom, getting a uniform toast so users can assemble burgers and sandwiches. As these buns move through the unit, they contact a hot, nickel-plated steel platen that caramelizes the sugars in the bread, creating a surface that moisture doesn't penetrate easily. Butter can be added to the buns before they're placed in the toaster using its butter wheel and pan; these are built into the front for convenience and uniform butter application. If buns are placed in the toaster without butter, PTFE sheets should be added to prevent them from sticking to the platen, and with 35-second toast cycles, this unit can toast 865 buns in an hour.
The stainless steel conveyor in this APW M-95-2 vertical toaster is accessible through a removable conveyor paddle, enabling operators to clean the conveyor and platen inside the unit. Also removable, the side panel provides access to integral components for servicing. This stainless steel unit resists rust, scratches, and dents.
