APW Wyott GCRB-24S Description
The APW GCRB-24S broiler has two thermostatic controls that ease operator management. The bullnose front protects the controls from cooking debris like oils and grease. The front panel of this unit features corrosion-resistant stainless steel metal, while the sides are protected by aluminized steel panels. Through operation, the full-width water pan collects drippings and excess condensation. This 24-inch-wide charbroiler is supported with 4-inch, nickel-plated legs adjustable by 1 3⁄4 inches.
The APW GCRB-24S gas broiler’s cooking surface is made of cast iron that heats evenly, while the 30,000-BTU burners supply heat to the cooking surface. Heat is directed via the assistance of its CharRock heating element. This unit has a cast iron rock holder that supports porous rocks—absorbing grease during cooking, then vaporizing it to enhance the flavor of the food. The grate is reversible with narrow channels for fat absorption and is alterable for level or slated grilling.
