APW Wyott GCRB-24S Description
The APW GCRB-24S gas CharRock broiler has a 24-inch width. Its cooking surface consists of a cast iron grate that can be reversed for cooking on either side. The grate’s very narrow design is ideal for draining fat off thick cuts of meat like steak. The unit cooks via a Char Rock configuration, using chunks of porous rocks that distribute heat evenly to the cooking surface; the 30,000 BTU burners placed below the rocks heat these rocks. The grill plate is adjustable for level or slated grilling.
For simple management of the APW GCRB-24S broiler, it features two accessible control knobs. The bullnose front protects the controls from grease, oils, and other cooking debris for simplified end-of-day cleaning. The front panel of this unit is constructed of stainless steel, while the sides are made of balanced aluminized steel. The unit includes a full-width water pan.
