Metro Q426G3 Description
The Metro Q426G3 louvered shelf kit ships knocked down and can be assembled without tools. This shelf kit has four quick-adjustable shelf frames, polymer open-grid shelf mats, four polymer posts, and one-piece wedges. Because the posts are embossed in 1-inch increments, the snap-on wedges are simple to line up, ensuring the shelves are even. The steel frames slide onto the wedges to keep them in place; users can then apply the polymer mats. Overall, this storage unit measures 29 13⁄16 inches wide by 21 3⁄8 inches deep by 63 inches high. While each of its shelves can hold 800 pounds, it should not exceed a 2,000-pound weight load to maintain structural integrity.
The Metro Q426G3 shelf kit can withstand continuous use in ambient temperatures between -20 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its four-sided frame is made of steel and finished in an epoxy coat for longevity and corrosion resistance. To minimize mold or bacterial growth, the polymer posts and mats feature Microban® antimicrobial protection. This storage unit is ideal for humid and damp areas like storage closets or walk-in coolers, and it can be cleaned using non-abrasive detergents and a cloth; the mats can be removed and run through the dishmachine as needed.
