To keep refrigerated foods at 35 degrees Fahrenheit in ambient temperatures as warm as 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the Norlake KODB77614-C outdoor walk-in cooler is operates with the Capsule Pak™ refrigeration system, which is top mounted and pre-charged. Because it's an outdoor model, it comes with a weather protection pack to withstand outdoor elements. Its one-piece, 35-millimeter white membrane roof material can be attached to the ceiling panels without seaming or gluing, and the metal trim for the flashing can be secured with self-drilling and self-tapping TEK screws.

For simple setup, it's comprised of modular wall, ceiling, and floor panels that can be properly aligned with the male and female mating rails and interlocked with the cam locking fasteners. To provide a sturdy structure and R-25 thermal resistance value, each panel is insulated with 4-inch-thick polyurethane that's foamed in place. Additionally, the interior and exterior panels are finished with corrosion-resistant, stucco-embossed 26-gauge coated steel. Great for bulk storage, the flooring is made of smooth aluminum that can support an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot.

The Norlake KODB77614-C walk-in cooler's 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall door is right hinged and self-closes to prevent temperature fluctuations and keep out pests. For smooth opening and closing, it's built with cam-lift hinges that can be adjusted in the field as needed. Inside the unit, a vapor-proof LED interior light illuminates the space, and operators can quickly determine if the light is on or off via the exterior pilot indicator light. Its built-in digital thermometer provides an accurate readout of interior temperatures so users can ensure products are stored in a safe setting. To reduce the chance of employees getting locked inside the unit, it's equipped with an inside safety release mechanism.
