Just what I needed for my cafe

I got these as a replacement for some carafes that had lids broken. I wasn't sure that they would come with the inserts that screw in, but they did. They were the exact part I needed and the shipping wasn't that much more expensive for 2nd-day air. I would order from this place again! I appreciate the efficiency and service.

Keep the coffee hot a long time

These pots are great for keeping coffee hot and steaming and fresh tasting for 3 plus hours. My only gripe, and it's a big one, is the stems in each pot are cut for that individual pot. It appears the thickness of the glass insert is not consistent, so the length of each stem has been cut to fit. One has to keep track of them not to mix them up. This can be a real problem if the individual washing up doesn't know this. It defeats the purpose of keeping the coffee hot if the pots all need to be opened to play musical chairs with the stems. I knocked a star off for this reason.

Works great and very easy to clean. Made very well.

Love the Increments

This is what I had been looking for. Had a friend working at another coffee shop that didn't even know these came with the increments. They look great and I am expecting them to last for years.

Terrible

Sugar and creamer leak while pouring. Tops do not screw on properly.

Was exactly as described

I shoulda read better, I mean if it was for me I'd love it, unfortunate for me it's for my ungrateful mom who isn't going to like it, I thought it would be a bit smaller. Oh well, if she doesn't like her Christmas gift I'll use it lol

Replaced missing gasket for coffee airpot.

I ordered 4 thinking the design looked good. However I was disappointed at how hard they would be to clean!! The top has a section that you can't get to making thorough cleaning impossible. Mold could grow out of sight. I wanted to return them but I thought shipping charges and hassle would be too much. I will not use them!!

I wouldn't buy this product again. Returning it.

Item is extremely light weight, and poor quality.

I like the look

The look of this product is nice. The size is seem smaller.

Already broken

This airpot didn't even last a month. The suction has already gone bad and it leaks. I've tried tightening the bottom piece, but it must be stripped because coffee still goes everywhere.

I would buy this again

We ordered two patches of these. The first batch was goo, but a top was missing. when called the company sent us two replacement tops very quickly. We ordered a second batch and one was poorly made -- screw to hold top of handle was not into the handle but sticking out the side of the carafe. Again a call resulted in a replacement within a couple of days. If the order is not correct, the company works hard to make it right. Good rating is for the service. Product is okay. Tops are a bit narrow to get ice into and ice out from for those that we use it with. Otherwise it seems a good product.

Twinings tea bags do not fit

The box is beautifully made. It is heavy, though. I had to return it because I wanted it for my Twinings teas and they do not fit.

I would buy this again.

Good design, keeps coffee hit around 2 hours. Sturdy. Katom has by far the best price.

I won't buy this Tea Box again

The Tea box was broken when it arrived. I think it is poorly made.

Great heat retention

I have owned 5 of these for over 20 years. ( I am the coffee maker for our camping group.) A full or near full pot will keep coffee at serving temperature overnight. ( The coffee tastes better than a timer pot where the grounds have sat out losing flavor overnight.) The capacity is just right to hold a whole 12 cup pot with about 1/2 cup left over for my cup. Traveling, I get these filled at McDonalds for $1 with no questions :lol: With reasonable care they are durable. I have had one soft lid seal break after 15 years of coffee hardening and one dispensing lever got broken by a ham handed guest. The pouring vent hole lets some coffee into the lid but is easy to clean by submerging in sudsy water for a few minutes and shaking the water in the lid then rinsing well by running water in under the lever and shaking it out. With a knife as pry bar the lid can be opened for a more through cleaning. I use gloves and automatic dish detergent to clean.

Beware, when you place your order, this is only for the clear bottom, and does not include the handle and top as pictured.

Great Service and Great Product

I broke the liner to my airpot. I needed a replacement and the company was fantastic at getting one for me. We drink lots of coffee here and when I make more than one pot I pot it into an airpot to keep it warm and convenient.
