Take Advantage of BUNNserve's Equipment Installation Program
A sophisticated beverage program means you need equipment that can satisfy customers' demands for fresh, expertly prepared coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. That's why it's important to not just have the right machines, but for those machines to be installed correctly so they properly brew or dispense fresh-tasting products. KaTom has teamed up with BUNN to provide customers with easy access to BUNNserve installation services with a flat-rate equipment installation program that sends a factory-trained technician to your site to install your new qualifying BUNN product.
Site Requirements for BUNNserve Installation
The following conditions must be met at the installation location of your BUNN equipment when the BNNServe technician arrives; if not, you may be charged additional fees or your site may not qualify for the BUNNserve program. A $125 failed installation attempt fee will be incurred if the technician arrives and cannot install equipment because the site is not ready.
- Utilities must meet local codes. Installation of locally mandated water hammer arrestors or backflow preventers is not included in the standard cost of materials or labor.
- Machine's water connection must be located within 6 feet of the installation location.
- A suitable electrical outlet must be located within 41/2 feet of the installation location.
- Product lines for sweetener or auto-fill systems must be routed to the installation location before the technician's arrival.
- Any required copper fittings must be installed before the technician arrives as technicians can't cut or sweat copper fittings.
- Any necessary modification of shelves, cabinets, or counters must be completed before BUNNserve installation.
Who is Eligible for BUNNserve Installation?
Traditional restaurants, concession stands, offices, schools, and most healthcare facilities are eligible for BUNNserve if the above requirements are met. Large facilities such as airports, stadiums, and arenas do not qualify. Remote locations and those requiring security screenings or locations with limited-access areas, such as locations only accessible by boat or air travel are also ineligible for the program.
BUNN Protection Plans
KaTom makes it easy to add BUNNserve's installation services to your purchase, but operators can sign up for the program's other benefits directly through BUNN. BUNNserve has two protection plans for operators to choose from: Protection Basic™ and Protection Plus™ The price you pay for BUNNserve Protection Basic includes the travel and labor required to install BUNN equipment as well as preventive maintenance and removal of the product.
The BUNNserve Protection Plus plan includes everything the Basic plan does, as well as:
- Preventive and reactive maintenance on BUNN products and other major beverage brands
- 2 years of warranty and non-warranty service calls from the installation date
- An additional Plus Renewal plan that allows operators to add a year onto their existing Protection Plus plan

Bunn also provides operators with BUNNTech, which includes VirtualTech and Call Tech. With a purchase of BUNNserve Pro, operators can access FieldTech.
