The unit is supported by a stainless steel-clad console and tri-leg base, ensuring durability and stability. Its self-locking crank tilt mechanism allows the kettle to tilt forward a full 90 degrees for complete emptying, while a trunnion and out-bore bearing provide smooth pivoting action.

For user convenience, the Southbend KELT-60 tilting kettle includes a faucet bracket and removable heating elements for easy maintenance. The integrally mounted control panel features a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum and pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shutoff for reliable operation. The factory-sealed steam jacket is pre-filled with treated water, eliminating the need for refilling. Its welded stainless steel exterior with a number 4 finish ensures easy cleaning and long-term durability.
