Koolaire KYP0700W/K970 Description
The Koolaire KYP0700W/K970/K00470 ice maker with bin produces 705 pounds of half-cube ice in proper conditions, and its bin can house as much as 882 pounds. The exterior of the ice maker and the bin has a finish that looks like stainless steel and is resistant to smudges, fingerprints, and corrosion. Staying open while the user scoops ice, the bin's door is insulated with foam to retain cold air and keep ice fresh. Inside, a scoop holder stores the included 82-ounce scoop away from the ice.
The Koolaire KYP0700W/K970/K00470 ice maker with bin comes with an adapter kit to secure the ice maker to the bin. Its self-contained, water-cooled condenser facilitates maintenance and chills the unit with a steady flow of cool water. For cleaning, the food zone can be reached by removing two screws and a lift-off door, and the water shield, pump, distribution tube, floats, and trough can be taken out. This food zone uses white plastic to show staff areas that are dirty.
