Koolaire KYP0700W/K570 Description
The Koolaire KYP0700W/K570 ice maker with bin has an exterior that looks like stainless steel and avoids corroding or showing smudges. In order to cool its refrigerant, the ice maker has a self-contained, water-cooled condenser that is chilled by cool water flowing around the condenser coils. Self-contained condensers facilitate maintenance, as all the components are housed together. The food zone—an area that touches the ice and water—has white plastic to reveal dirt and grime that need to be cleaned. To promote painless upkeep, the water shield, tube, pump, distribution tube, floats, and trough can be removed by hand.
The Koolaire KYP0700W/K570 ice maker with bin can store 532 pounds of half-size ice cubes, and a holder on the inside of the bin provides space to house the 82-ounch scoop. Its 6-inch legs can be adjusted to different heights to keep it level on uneven floors. In order to keep ice from melting, its foam-insulated door seals in cold air. When propped up, the door remains open so that users can scoop ice more efficiently.
