Given ambient air at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water at 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the Koolaire KYP0400W-161/K570 half-cube ice maker with bin can produce 425 pounds of half-cube ice daily. This kind of ice cools drinks more quickly than full-cube ice. Its condenser is water cooled, which means it uses water to ensure the refrigerant is cold enough. Like stainless steel, its exterior finish resists fingerprints and rust. Its food zone, the area that comes into contact with ice and water, is sealed to prevent bacterial growth. In these sections, white plastic components are included in order to highlight dirt and slime.
The Koolaire KYP0400W-161/K570 ice machine with bin has an 82-ounce scoop with a holder that stores the scoop out of the ice. This bin can hold 532 pounds, and its four legs can be adjusted to clean underneath. It features black side panels that match the ice machine. To ensure ice stays frozen, the bin has an insulated door that can be propped open for efficient scooping.
