The Koolaire KYT0300A-161/K570 half-cube ice machine with bin has a sealed food zone, which includes any area that comes into contact with ice and water. White plastic components in the food zone reveal dirt and slime that needs to be cleaned. To access the food zone for cleaning and maintenance, two screws and the lift-off door must be removed—other internal components can be removed without tools. This ice maker can produce 366 pounds of half-cube ice a day under the proper conditions. Half-cube ice cools drinks and melts more quickly than full-cube ice. This unit's exterior, which resembles stainless steel, is resistant to fingerprint smudges and corrosion.
The Koolaire KYT0300A-161/K570 ice maker with bin's exterior finish resists fingerprints and rust and looks like stainless steel. Its side panels are black to complement the ice machine. Storing 532 pounds of ice, this unit includes an 82-ounce scoop and a built-in holder that ensures the scoop's handle does not contaminate the ice. This bin has an insulated door that keeps ice from melting and props up for comfortable scooping.
