Depending on ambient conditions, the Koolaire KDP1000A-261/K570 full-cube ice maker with bin can produce 846 pounds of full-cube ice daily. This size ice cools drinks quickly but melts slowly, which is ideal for alcoholic beverages. An air-cooled condensing unit utilizes fans to push cold air across the condenser. Resembling stainless steel, the unit's exterior is resistant to smudges and corrosion.
Areas that come in contact with ice and water are called the food zone, which is sealed to prevent bacteria from forming and contaminating ice. White plastic parts in the food zone help users quickly identify dirty spots, and the lift-off door and two screws can be removed to access the internal parts. With the push of a button, the cleaning cycle can be activated. Most of its internal components can be removed by hand.
The Koolaire KDP1000A-261/K570 ice machine with bin has an insulated door that reduces condensate buildup so that ice lasts for long periods of time. Its door can stay open when scooping, and to add height, the bin has four adjustable legs. An 82-ounce scoop is provided, along with a built-in holder that keeps ice safe. This bin has an exterior similar to stainless steel and side panels that coordinate with the ice machine. It can hold 532 pounds of ice.
