The Koolaire KDP0700A-261/K570 full-cube ice machine head with bin has an air-cooled condensing unit that uses fans to direct cold air across the condenser and cool the equipment. Depending on surrounding conditions, this unit can produce 614 pounds of full-cube ice daily. This ice melts more slowly than half-cube ice, so it is perfect for drinks that are meant to be sipped. Its exterior looks and feels like stainless steel and resists smudges and rust. Its food zone—the areas that touch water and ice—is sealed to prevent bacterial growth. In order to keep the unit sanitary, the food zone has white plastic components that stand out against dirt. When they need cleaning, the water shield, floats, pump, distribution tube, and trough can be removed by hand.
The Koolaire KDP0700A-261/K570 ice maker with bin can store 532 pounds of ice and has an exterior that resists corrosion like stainless steel. For comfortable scooping, the door can be propped open, and it is insulated to prevent condensation from building up. Providing stability on uneven surfaces, the bin's legs can be adjusted. An 82-ounce scoop with an interior holder is included to keep the ice sanitary. This unit's black side panels match the ice machine to provide a uniform appearance.
