The Kold-Draft GTX561AC/KDB400 ice machine is meant for use in high-traffic spaces, as its efficient design can make 525 pounds of full-dice ice in an hour. This ice maker is completely air cooled, meaning it doesn’t require water lines for operation and is simple to install. The unit’s plastic louvers protect the refrigeration system inside from dirt and other debris. It’s nontoxic and uses R404A hydrocarbon refrigerant; meanwhile, the thermostatic expansion valve regulates refrigerant’s flow.

The Kold-Draft GTX561AC/KDB400 commercial ice maker is stackable and fits atop a 400-pound ice storage bin. Its top-hinged door provides access inside for stocking or removing ice cubes. The polyethylene interior liner upkeeps the ice’s quality, while the exterior body is made of stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and simplified cleaning. The ice maker and bin stay upright with the support of 6-inch legs, making the unit is easy to clean under when needed.
