These components also enable a ventless design. This unit’s compact,14 inch-wide by 25 1⁄2 inch-deep size fits comfortably on a 23 5⁄8-inch worktop. Its 12-inch-long and wide cavity is accessed through the bottom-mounted door with an ergonomic, extended handle. The body is made of impact-resistant stainless steel that remains cool to the touch due to the oven’s patented air-cooled technology. The air filtration system is located at the front for easy access and maintenance when needed.

This Merrychef CONNEX12STANDARDPOWERCARBONBLACK microwave convection/impingement oven is managed and operated with the front-facing, 7-inch touchscreen. The menus are simple to distinguish through the easyTouch® icon-driven control panel. This full-service menu provides Recipe creation, Press & Go, Cookbook, Cleaning, Temperature Change, and Settings options. All saved recipes can be updated with user-preferable settings, and employees can add six stages per cooking profile for better guidance during cooking cycles. This touchscreen features a USB data stick input and a WiFi and ethernet connection for quick menu updates. This unit operates using three cooking technologies: convection, microwave, and impingement.
