To help employees sharpen and hone the entire blade, the Wusthof 4616-7 Classic Ikon boning knife has a half bolster, while its heel bolster adds balance. For user control, the blade is triple riveted to the handle, which is contoured for comfortable use. This unit's blade has a 5-inch length and uses Precision Edge Technology to ensure the blade's sharp edge is retained. Made of high-carbon stainless steel, the blade is stain resistant and durable for high-volume use. The handle is made of polyoxymethylene to resist fading over time.
