Hobart LXEH-2 Description
The Hobart LXEH-2 rack undercounter dishwasher can clean and sanitize 32 racks in an hour, as each cycle takes 109 seconds, and a rack requires 0.74 gallon of water. This is a high-temperature unit, meaning it sanitizes dishes with hot water instead of chemicals, saving money on sanitizing solutions but using more energy. A booster heater in the warewasher raises water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure the dishes are properly sanitized. This heater can provide a 70-degree Fahrenheit rise, so incoming water should be at least 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
This Hobart LXEH-2 high-temp undercounter dishwasher has top-mounted, microcomputer controls that are accessible when servicing is needed. These controls are digital to simplify starting and monitoring the cycles, and the panel display provides reminders for deliming cycles and unclogging the wash arms. Deliming cycles remove limescale from the wash chamber and booster heater to keep the washer operating properly. Unit temperature displays on the control panel, so operators can keep up with it while the system also provides servicing diagnostics.

Junk
Absolute junk. Plastic and rubber parts degrade because they aren't chemical resistant, electronics fail repeatedly, constantly replacing rinse arm bases and pump tubes. Do not recommend.
Excellent Machine
Dishwasher works great for my operation. Bought in 2014 and has worked great since. Had to change the chemical tubes once, but that is normal for commercial dishwashers.
Not reliable
Does a decent job when it works. We bought one in Dec. 2015 and have had it repaired on nearly a monthly basis (10 calls in 11 months) : rinse agent and detergent pumps failing repeatedly, sometimes within a month of replacement, door switch, temperatures problems several times, electronic parts burning out, etc. Various levels of Hobart Canada have told me that this isn't normal, and that they will come up with a plan for compensation, but nothing happens, and I suspect that they've just been stalling until our warranty is up. We spent nearly $7000 on this machine because we were told it was the best, and it's had far more problems than previous dishwashers that cost less than $4000.
