Made to fit on a 23-inch countertop, the Hobart FP100-1 food processor features a compact design. Angled at 50 degrees, users can easily load foods into the unit's large, half-size feed hopper. As much as 11 pounds of food can be processed in a minute, making it a good option for restaurants with menu items that feature shredded, julienned, or juiced ingredients. Its planetary drive moves in a circular motion, rotating at a plate speed of 420 rotations per minute. After use, the hopper can be removed with ease, streamlining consistent cleaning to prevent buildup and ensure clean product.
The Hobart FP100-1 food processor turns on with the press of a button, and the feed hopper's structure accommodates long and short foods, eliminating the need to precut products to save on prep time. Equipped for back-to-back use, rest times aren't necessary in between processing cycles. For safety, an interlock switch stops operation when the pusher plate is open.
