Hobart FD4/125-1 Description
Designed to attach to a 7-inch throat-opening cone, the Hobart FD4/125-1 garbage disposer features a short upper housing with a heavy aluminum grind and discharge housing. To minimize noise and reduce vibration, a vinyl isolating ring prevents the housing and the cone from touching. Permanently lubricated ball bearings enable the unit to run smoothly over time, and it has a manual-reset thermal overload inherent protector to prevent the machine from overworking. Its ring, which is 1 3⁄4 inches high, has four machine ground primary action breaker bars and 42 secondary-action grinding teeth to effectively break down waste.
The Hobart FD4/125-1 garbage disposer's breaker blade is located at the center of the machine and prevents foods from getting stuck in the middle. It can move in either direction, and the user can manually control the direction in which the machine moves, making it a good tool to prevent jams. A drain connector is included for a 1 1⁄2-inch drain tap.
