Follett D1410R Description
The Follett D1410R Horizon Elite™ nugget ice machine head produces up to 1,372 pounds of Chewblet® nugget ice daily and is designed for use with a remote condenser to reduce ambient heat and noise near the point of service. This remote-cooled, air-based system features a floatless, sealed design that helps prevent biofilm formation inside the unit. To minimize maintenance, the system does not require regular bearing inspection or replacement. Key internal components that contact water and ice are treated with Agion® silver-based antimicrobial protection to support sanitary operation over time. A built-in, upgraded LED display provides real-time feedback on operating status and diagnostics.
The Follett D1410R Horizon Elite ice machine head uses R404A refrigerant and supports semi-automatic cleaning and sanitizing for routine upkeep. The unit connects via a 3⁄8-inch OD push-in water inlet and drains through a 3⁄4-inch MPT outlet; a 1-inch gravity drain is required. It performs reliably in environments where air temperatures range from 50 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and water temperatures range from 45 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
