The True TWT-72-HC~SPEC3 Spec Series® worktop refrigerator has three positive-seal, self-closing doors that swing within cabinet dimensions. Their 90-degree, stay-open technology works great for unhindered access when cleaning the interior. The lockable, 20-gauge doors come with metal handles and magnetic gaskets with gaskets removable without tools for easy cleaning. For a luxury appearance, the countertop front is flush with the front of the doors. This unit features six shelves: two on the left, two on the right, and two in the center, all of which are adjustable on ¹⁄₂-inch increments. Each PVC-coated wire shelf comes with four chrome-plated clips apiece.

Compliant with ADA requirements, the True TWT-72-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator has a 34-inch work surface height and 3-inch diameter stem castors. Made of stainless steel and insulated with polyurethane, this refrigerator has a one-piece backsplash and top to prevent messes from collecting in crevices. The evaporator and condenser fan motors are designed to move a consistent volume of air with minimal heat and little energy, and the capillary tube system is also energy-efficient, using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Controlled by a digital display, the temperature holding range is 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit.

Helping the condensing coil function more effectively, the compressor’s fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning function; at the start of each cycle, the fan blows air in reverse for a 20-second period to eliminate buildup from the coil. This can help lengthen the unit’s lifespan and reduce energy consumption, but it operates best when used alongside routine preventive maintenance.
