The True TWT-48D-2-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® worktop refrigerator comes with two PVC-coated, wire shelves that are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments with chrome-plated clips. Designed to match the cabinet interior, the shelf support pilasters are made of durable stainless steel. The top and backsplash of the worktop are formed together from one piece of metal, ensuring that bacteria and food particles cannot be trapped between them for facilitated cleaning. The door, drawer facings, and cabinet are insulated with polyurethane that acts as a barrier against heat. With locks provided on the front set, the stem castors measure 5 inches in diameter and bring the work surface to 36 inches off the ground. The two drawers can accommodate one full-size storage box or smaller sizes with divider bars.

The positive-seal, self-closing door on the True TWT-48D-2-HC~SPEC1 worktop refrigerator swings within the cabinet dimensions. For convenient product stocking, this door also features a 90-degree, stay-open feature. The door and drawers are each fitted with an all-metal, heavy-duty handle. The magnetic gaskets, drawer slides, and rollers can be removed without tools for expedited cleaning, and the door is flush with the front of the countertop for an attractive look.

Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and guided airflow, the self-contained capillary tube system provides uniform temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The electronically commutated fan motors circulate consistent air volumes and provide top-notch reliability. Located in the back, the condensing unit slides out for swift maintenance. While it isn’t a replacement for regular preventive maintenance, the fan compressor’s self-cleaning function helps optimize efficiency and lengthen the unit’s lifespan. At the start of each cycle, the motor directs air in reverse for a period of 20 seconds; this blows away any buildup that’s settled on the condensing coil since the last cycle.
