True Refrigeration TWT-36-HC ADA Description
The True TWT-36-HC worktop refrigerator combines cold storage and prep space into a single unit, and because the unit's castors are only 3 inches high, they do not raise the work height more than 34 inches high, which is compliant with ADA regulations. Made of stainless steel, the top and backsplash are durable with a one-piece construction that prevents crumbs and bacteria from getting trapped beneath the surface. In the cabinet, four PVC-coated wire shelves hold stored product and can accommodate various items since they are adjustable.
Constructed of aluminum with a clear-coated finish, this unit resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning, and its stainless steel floor had coved corners to minimize debris buildup. Accessing the interior is convenient through the self-closing doors, which stay open past 90 degrees and have 12-inch handles with a recessed design that saves aisle space.
Temperatures in the True TWT-36-HC worktop refrigerator can be set by the operator as low as 33 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a guided airflow system, cold air in the cabinet is uniformly distributed, and fans operate efficiently with electronically commutated motors, minimizing energy use and heat production.
The compressor’s fan motor features a self-cleaning function that optimizes efficiency and lengthens the unit’s lifespan. Each time the compressor starts up, the fan blows air in reverse for 20 seconds to clean the coil, removing any settled dirt or debris. Designed to be paired with regular preventative maintenance, this feature improves general performance.
