The True TWT-27F-HC~SPEC1 worktop freezer uses state-of-the-art fan motors to move consistent amounts of air while generating minimal heat and maintaining temperatures at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Ideal for ice cream and frozen foods, this unit uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a factory-balanced refrigeration system with guided airflow to spread temperatures uniformly. Located in the rear, the condensing unit slides out for fast cleaning and the evaporator is epoxy coated to resist corrosion. The temperature is controlled using a digital display or the time-initiated, time-terminated, automatic defrost system. At the start of each compressor cycle, its fan motor directs air in the opposite direction for a period of 20 seconds. This eliminates away any buildup, dust, or dirt that’s settled on the coil since the last cycle. Though not a substitute for routine preventive maintenance, this feature helps reduce energy consumption and optimize performance. 

This stainless steel unit features a backsplash constructed in one piece with the top to prevent bacterial growth and crevices that trap food. Insulated with polyurethane, the cabinet has 5-inch-diameter stem castors with locks on the front set and a 36-inch-high work surface. The two PVC-coated, wire shelves in the True TWT-27F-HC~SPEC1 worktop freezer are adjustable on ¹⁄₂-inch centers and come with four chrome-plated shelf clips apiece. The shelf support pilasters are made of stainless steel to match the cabinet interior for a professional appearance. The single stainless steel door is aluminum lined, lockable, and comes with an all-metal, working spec handle. With self-closing technology, the positive-seal door has a 90-degree, stay-open feature and swings within the dimensions of the cabinet. Magnetic door gaskets are constructed from one piece and can be removed without tools for expedited cleaning.
