The backsplash of this stainless steel True TWT-27D-2-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator is formed together with its top to prevent food particles from getting trapped. Lockable stem castors are 5 inches in diameter and the work surface height of this refrigerator is 36 inches. The heavy-duty drawers can accommodate one full-size food pan or several incremental pans with optional divider bars. Each drawer—flush with the front of the countertop—is fitted with an all-metal, working spec handle and one-piece gaskets, which are removable without tools. Drawer slides and rollers can be removed for maintenance and cleaning.

The True TWT-27D-2-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator is foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation and maintains a temperature—set using an electronic, digital display—between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The energy-efficient refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and guided airflow to provide uniform temperatures to all food products. For rust protection, the evaporator is epoxy coated, and the condensing unit is in the back of the cabinet, sliding out for swift cleaning. Electronically commutated motors use minimal heat, little energy, and provide a consistent volume of air.

To optimize performance by ensuring the condensing coil isn’t overworked, the compressor’s fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning function. Each time it cycles on, it blows away buildup from the coil for 20 seconds by running in reverse. This feature lengthens the unit’s lifespan and improves efficiency, but it functions best when it’s used in addition to regular preventive maintenance.
