The oversized refrigeration unit maintains a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using R134A refrigerant and an extra-large evaporator coil with a high-horsepower compressor and large condenser. The condensing unit can be cleaned swiftly and is accessed behind the front grille, while the evaporator is epoxy coated to eliminate corrosion potential. Temperatures can be adjusted using the electronic control and digital display.

For 20 seconds at the start of each cycle, the compressor’s fan motor blows in reverse to remove built-up debris and settled dirt from the condensing coil. Maintaining a clean condensing coil helps reduce energy consumption and lengthen the lifespan of the unit. This self-cleaning function works best when combined with routine preventive maintenance.
