The True TUC-60-HC-LP undercounter refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel on most of the exterior. The steel back has a GalFan coating that resists corrosion. Two doors provide access to the interior of the cabinet, and each door has a 12-inch recessed handle that is easy to grab. With its low-profile design, the unit easily fits under lower-than-average countertops. Mobility is provided by the 1 1⁄2-inch castors.

Inside the cabinet, the interior is mostly made of a clear-coat aluminum liner for corrosion resistance. The floor is stainless steel for strength, and its coved corners will not trap debris and liquids. Product can be stored on the floor and on four PVC-coated shelves that adjust to accommodate various product sizes. The True TUC-60-HC-LP undercounter refrigerator is compliant to hold open food product.

To lengthen the unit’s lifespan, the condensing fan motor blows in reverse for 20 seconds to help remove buildup from the condensing coil’s surface. This mechanism helps boost coil performance by reducing energy usage and improving cooling. Though effective, regular preventive maintenance needs to be scheduled to ensure the coil is operating correctly over time.
